Know what is behind the words.
Health information should help you ask better questions. Here is how to understand the sources, authorship and treatment links in the Soha Journal.
Follow the source
Source links connect medical explanations with the clinical guidance, government information or research used to prepare them. Read the original source for its context and limitations. A citation is not an endorsement of Soha.
Research on hormone therapy generally does not establish the results of Estrada's specific formulation. We distinguish general treatment information from product-specific evidence; one should not be read as proof of the other.
What a medical-review credit means
When an article includes a medical-review credit, it identifies the clinician who reviewed that version. A Soha byline identifies the publisher; a medical-review credit identifies a completed review.
Our relationship to the care we describe
Soha offers care, and some Journal links lead to Soha's own treatment information. Those invitations are commercial links to our services. They do not mean that Estrada is appropriate for every reader or the only option to discuss.
Provider comparisons describe the information available from the providers cited. Offerings can change. Confirm current details with the provider, and discuss personal treatment decisions with your clinician.
Dates and corrections
A guide's Updated date records when its content was last revised. It does not imply a new clinical review or a new study. The sources remain available so you can check the explanation behind a statement.
If something appears inaccurate, email support@joinsoha.com with the page link, the statement and a supporting source if you have one. Please leave out symptoms, medical records and other personal health information. This address is for editorial and administrative questions, not personal medical advice.
Education supports your conversation
A guide cannot assess your symptoms, diagnose a condition or choose a prescription. Bring questions about your health history, medication and treatment choices to your own clinician. For urgent symptoms, seek urgent medical care rather than waiting for an editorial response.
